Jorge Fernandez, born on June 18, 1943, passed away on August 13, 2026.

Jorge will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was centered on family and the simple joys of working with his hands. He found happiness in planting and outdoor landscaping activities, and he also enjoyed leather arts and crafts and woodworking. These interests reflected a creative spirit and a love of making things with care and purpose.

A cherished memory in Jorge’s life was his marriage to Maria Fernandez on July 2, 1971, in San Antonio, Texas. Their marriage was a lasting and meaningful part of his life, and together they built a family that remained at the heart of all he held dear.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Fernandez; his daughters, Rachel Fernandez and her husband, Terri Fernandez, and Diana Dudley and her husband, Jason Dudley; and his son, Daniel Fernandez and his wife, Ardith Fernandez. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ariana, Joshua, Bella, Christian, and Angelica, who were an important part of his family circle.

Jorge is also survived by his sisters, Maria Lourdes Fernandez and Susana Fernandez; his brother, Carlos Fernandez, and his wife, Rosa Fernandez; and his friend, Rob Frese. He leaves behind a family and circle of loved ones who will continue to carry his memory forward with affection and gratitude.

Jorge Fernandez will be remembered with love for his steady presence, his dedication to his family, and the enjoyment he found in the outdoors and in craftsmanship. His life touched those around him, and his memory will remain a lasting blessing to all who knew him.
