In Loving Memory of
Jonathan Ivan Ayala
April 1, 1992 – February 27, 2026
It is with profound sorrow and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Jonathan Ivan Ayala — a beloved husband, devoted father, cherished son, brother, nephew, grandson, and loyal friend. Jonathan was a bright light in the lives of all who knew him.
Born in Santa Ana, California, Jonathan carried his love for family, laughter, and life everywhere he went. Known for his infectious laugh, kind soul, and adventurous spirit, he had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and deeply loved.
To many he was Jonathan, but to his mom he would always be “Panzón” — her proud and unapologetic mama’s boy. Their bond was one filled with love, laughter, and an unbreakable connection that will live on forever.
Jonathan was truly the life of the party. He was always laughing, dancing, telling jokes, and playing pranks on anyone he could. His energy was contagious, and his smile could light up any room. Being around him meant you were going to laugh.
His greatest joy in life was his beautiful wife, Daniela, and his two sons, Aaron and Ian. Whether he was fishing with his boys, cheering on his favorite teams — the Dallas Cowboys (even when they “almost” won), the Anaheim Angels, and the LA Lakers — or simply spending time with family, he lived fully and loved fiercely.
He had a passion for Ford trucks, fast cars, cowboy boots and hats, guns, and of course chocolate — especially Reese’s. Jonathan worked in hot shot trucking alongside his brother-in-law at GI Logistics and also worked for Nationwide Trailers as a salesperson, always providing for his family with dedication and pride.
He is survived by his loving wife, Daniela; his sons, Aaron and Ian; his father, Fortino; his mother, Yanira, and stepfather, Eduardo; his sister, Elva Lizbeth; his brother, Marcos Alexis; his niece, Arianna; his brother-in-law, Gilbert; his mother- and father-in-law, Yolanda and Gabriel; his loving grandparents, Miguel and Elva; his uncles, Mike and Edgar; his aunt, Rosio; his best friend, Hugo; along with many cousins, nieces, aunts, uncles, and a community that loved him dearly.
He was welcomed into Heaven by his grandparents, Fidencio and Maria Elena, and his great-grandparents, Hipolito and Cecilia. Just a few days before his passing, his beloved family dog, Luna, went ahead — not to leave us, but to make sure Jonathan wouldn’t be alone when he arrived.
Jonathan’s life was filled with love, laughter, loyalty, strength, and unforgettable joy. Though our hearts are shattered, we are forever grateful for the time God gave us with him. His memory will live on in every story told, every laugh shared, and in the hearts of all who loved him.
Forever loved. Forever missed
