Billy Gene Johnson, 84, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.

Visitation Service: 6-8pm Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.
Chapel Service: 11am Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

Billy was born on March 30, 1938, in Ninekah, Oklahoma to mother, Mildred Bennett and father, J.B. Johnson. As he grew into the man he was known to be today, he met and fell in love with Darlene Louise Schmidt. He officially made her a Johnson on December 30, 1961, in Gainsville, Texas. He worked and retired from Miller Brewing Company in March of 2000. When Billy did have free time, he loved to fill it with traveling with family and friends but yet kept just enough time to spend watching the Dallas Cowboys, OU Sooners, and watching a nice evening game of the Texas Rangers.

He is preceded in death by, his loving wife, Darlene Louise Johnson; mother and father, Mildred and J.B. Johnson; brothers, Benny and Sammy Johnson; sons-in-law, Michael Vaughn Carrington, Clay Salyer, D Whitehead, Mahbub Molla, Jerry Lynn Hughes; grandsons, Travis Adam Wooldridge, Josh Burrell; great-grandson, Brantley Michael Webb.

Billy is survived by, daughters, Jackie Wooldridge - Molla of Burleson, Rhonda Kay Johnson of Alamogorda, NM, Frankie Whitehead of Texarkana, Karen and Tommy Doty of Burleson, Jamie and Maverick Killian of Haslet, Billie Carrington of Diana, Stacey Hughes of Fairfield, Tracey Shehan of Burleson and fiance Lester High; sister, Mary Nell and Greg Woods of Las Cruces, NM; brother, Roger Johnson of Rush Springs, OK; granddaughter, Tammy and Chris Haines of Burleson; 19 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and many loved extended family and friends near and far.
