John began his academic journey at Sam Houston High School, from which he graduated, and further pursued his education for two years at Tarrant County Junior College. His career as a self-employed insurance broker demonstrated his commitment to providing for those around him and his skill in navigating the complexities of the insurance world.

John's personal life was enriched by his loving spouse, Amy Wycoff, with whom he shared a partnership that began in 2016 and culminated in their marriage on October 31, 2022, in Arlington, Texas. Together, they navigated life with mutual affection and respect.

He was also a proud father to his son, Matthew Wycoff, and wife, Nicole. His devotion to family extended to his grandchildren—Sammatha, Sydney, Bennett, and Carson Wycoff—who brought joy and warmth into his later years. He is fondly remembered by his sister, Cheryl Hughes, and her partner, Rick Kerr; his brother, Joe Wycoff, and wife, Sandra; nieces, Kathryn and Rebecca Kerr; and nephews Andrew, Nic, and Christopher Wycoff.

John was a man of faith who found comfort and community in attending church at Saint Maria Goretti and Saint Matthews Catholic Church. Beyond his commitments, he was known for his love of sight-seeing and was humorously acknowledged as a master of the video game Grand Theft Auto, interests that revealed his playful spirit and zest for life.

John Curtis Wycoff’s presence will be deeply missed by his family and friends who cherished his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. His legacy endures in the hearts of all who knew him.

He will be remembered with great respect and gratitude for the life he led. Services in his honor will be held with close ones and community members, reflecting the impact he had on their lives.
