John Bradley Brooks

November 24, 1964 — September 10, 2025

John Bradley Brooks has peacefully passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 60.

John was born on November 24, 1964, in Dallas, Texas, to Dixie Lee and George Lewis Brooks. He grew up in Duncanville, where he graduated high school, and went on to be an Operations Supervisor at Alamo Glass and Mirror. John married Julie Ann on May 23, 1997, in Dallas, Texas, later moving to Midlothian with their three children. John enjoyed fishing, hanging out at the deer lease with his buddies, and tinkering around the house.

John was a naturally faithful, dedicated and reliable person - in his happy marriage of 28 years to his wife, Julie; with his three children, Jenny, Dallas, and Mary, whom he loved dearly; with his Mom and Dad, his uncles and aunts, his brothers and their spouses, and his nieces and their children, all whom he also loved dearly.

John was faithful, dedicated, and reliable in his workplace, where he stayed for over 40 years. His sense of empathy for others was immeasurable. He displayed it with everyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with him. John was truly a nice, kind, and loving man and anyone who met him was drawn to him, blessing him with so many dear friends.

John is now pain-free, and in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, he believed that. We will all miss you, Daddy, and John, but will see you again one day.

John is preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Lee, and his brother, Jeffrey Scott Brooks.

Those left to cherish John's memory are his wife of over 28 years, Julie Ann Brooks; his daughters, Jennifer Lauren and Germino De Los Santos, Mary Alexandra Brooks, and his son, Dallas Michael and Kaitlyn Smith; his father, George Brooks; his brother, Steven Clay and Pauline Brooks; his grandchildren, Devin, Dezmond, and Dexter De Los Santos; his nieces, Cindi Cagle, Kristina Brooks, Stephanie Brooks, Monica Brooks, and Cora Brown; his uncles, Mike Rutter and Mark Rutter; his boss and friend, Rick Worsham; Terry Tucker, Shaun Russell, Tim Knott, Xavier Cagle, and his beloved "Buff".

Please consider making a donation in John's honor to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
