Jeffrey Lynn Merrell

Jeffrey Lynn Merrell passed on September 29, 2023, in Rowlett, Texas at the age of 78. 

Jeffrey was born May 17, 1945, in El Monte, California to Robert Merrell and Claudia Bridgewater.  He met his wife, Paula Sue Merrell in school, and they had their wedding on October 8, 1966, in El Monte, California.  Jeffrey really enjoyed his school years and graduated from Arroyo High School in California.  He proudly served our military in the United States Army.  Jeffrey worked for GTE for 25 years and after retiring from there he worked for Autozone for three years and then for NAPA for 10 years.

He sure loved Sprint Car Racing, Texas Rangers Baseball and the Dallas Stars Hockey.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Merrell and Claudia Bridgewater.

Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his wife, Paula Sue Merrell; sons, John Merrell and his wife Ann Merrell, Michael Merrell and Kathy Graham; sister, Jan Berry and husband Don Berry; grandchildren, Aaron Merrell, Megan Merrell and Stephanie Grassi; great-grandchild, Kai Merrell; nieces, Julianne Thompson, Shauna McKeever; nephews, Mark Berry, Paul Berry along with numerous other family and friends.
