Jean Rodgers, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 81. She was born on July 4, 1945, in Cushing, Oklahoma to Harold and Norma (Hough) Davis.
Jean will be remembered for the quiet joys that shaped her life and the care she expressed through the things she loved to do. She enjoyed reading, cross stitch, sewing, and crochet, pursuits that reflected both her creativity and her patient, thoughtful nature. These interests brought comfort and beauty into everyday life and will remain part of the way she is remembered by those who knew and loved her.
She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her memory forward. Jean is survived by her daughter, Angelee Septer, and her son, Shyam Minshi. She was also a cherished sister to Jo O'Kelley. Her love extended to the next generation through her grandchildren, Spencer Munshi, Eliza Munshi, and Jaxson Septer, each of whom held a special place in her heart.
She is also remembered with affection by her niece, Denise Robison, and by her nephews, Phillip Davis, Jimmy O'Kelley, and Marc O'Kelley. In addition to her family, Jean is survived by special friends Diane Pitchford, Arnivaz Godiwalla, and Clara Lacour, whose friendship was a meaningful part of her life.
A graveside service will be held on September 12, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, Texas 76063.
Jean Rodgers will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and in the enduring love shared by those closest to her.
