Jason McGraw, beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on July 25, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. He was born on June 12, 1981, in Fort Polk, Louisiana, and in his 45 years, touched countless lives with his kindness, devotion, and unwavering spirit.

Jason’s life was rooted in the love of family and the strength of meaningful relationships. He is survived by his devoted wife, Christy McGraw, whose partnership was a cornerstone of his life. His legacy lives on in his children—Kaitlyn Skelton, Natalie McGraw, Kaleb Skelton and wife Ella Skelton, Caiden Skelton and wife Alexandra Skelton, and Tucker McGraw. He also leaves behind his treasured grandchild, Ryder Skelton, in whom Jason took immense pride and joy.

Jason was the loving son of Traci and David McGraw, who instilled in him the values of integrity and dedication that he carried throughout his life. His siblings, Erin Hogan and husband Les, Elizabeth McGraw-Phelps, James McGraw and wife Lindsey McGraw, each held a special place in his heart. In addition to his immediate family, Jason is remembered fondly by his mother-in-law, Carolyn Downing, and his dear friend, Canyon Samuel.

Jason’s journey was marked not only by life’s triumphs but also by loss. He is reunited in passing with his brother, Bradley Putney McGraw, and his dog and best friend Zeus McGraw, who both preceded him in death. Their memories remained close to Jason’s heart throughout his life.

Education was important to Jason, and he was proud to have earned his bachelor’s degree, an accomplishment that set the foundation for his career and personal growth. Professionally, Jason specialized in electronic wiring—a trade that allowed him to apply his technical skills with precision, passion, and pride.

Beyond his career, Jason’s greatest joys were found in spending time with his family and pursuing his interests. He could often be found watching his kids play baseball, a pastime that filled him with happiness. Sports were a lifelong passion, especially his enduring loyalty to the Green Bay Packers and the Texas Rangers. Jason loved detailing his truck until it was perfect, traveling to seek out new experiences, and cherishing each moment alongside those he loved most.

Those who knew Jason will remember his unwavering support, generous nature, and infectious enthusiasm. Whether cheering for his kids or favorite sports teams, embarking on a family trip, or simply spending time at home with loved ones, Jason created memories that will be cherished forever.

Friends and family are invited to honor Jason’s life at his funeral service, which will be held on July 31, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Skyvue Funeral Home, located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063.
