Jason Don Jordan of Godley Texas' watch has ended on May 7, 2024, in Fort Worth Texas.

Jason was born March 21, 1978, to Stevie James Jordan and Dorothy Faye Chance Eason.

He worked hard and obtained his master's degree in criminal justice from Tarleton. Jason began his career as a Tarrant County Jailer in 1999 before deciding to pursue a career as a Texas Peace Officer. He started his law enforcement career as a deputy with the Johnson County Sheriff's Office in 2002 and served honorably there along working at Chili's. He also worked at Venus and Blue Mound through the years as well, before going to Godley in 2013. Jason served as Chief of Police for the city of Godley from 2016-2022 where he oversaw every aspect of the department. And he finished his career serving the town of Pelican Bay as Lieutenant, overseeing criminal investigations, the property room, patrol, and evidence processing.

During this time, Jason met and fell in love with Brenda Michele Hoipkemier. On May 28, 2005, they became Mr. and Mrs. Jordan.

Jason attended Stone Water Church of Godley, Hallmark, Friendship Baptist Church and Liberty. He was also a part of the Chiefs Association.

When Jason was not on duty protecting his fellow man, he enjoyed relaxing by the water and fishing, crafting various things, doodling, doing music trivia with his family, going on family vacations, and attending the Brahmas hockey games.

Jason worked hard and started a school supply drive, was a part of ticket for totes (toys) Christmas drive and the safety fair.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy; dad, Stevie; sister, Heather; grandmother, Lila; as well as aunts and uncles.

Jason is survived by his wife, Brenda Jordan; daughters, Jessica Roff and spouse Kelsie, Heather Jordan, Madison Jordan; sons, Jacob Jordan and spouse Jasmine, Ethan Jordan; parents, mother-in-law, Barbara Hoipkemier and father-in-law, Rick Hoipkemier and spouse Kathleen; brother, Steven Jordan and spouse Kristen; grandchildren, Grayson, Liam, Amiris (soon to be here); niece, Kaysie Holaway, Alexis Holaway; all of his brothers in uniform; as well as many more family and friends that loved him, because a lot of friends were like family.
