James Harold Rogers

James Harold Rogers passed away September 9, 2024.

James was born September 8, 1960, in Dallas, Texas, to Willie Upton Rogers and Sherry Frances Boatmun. He attended South Grand Prairie High School and worked for Wheat Lumber Company. January 30, 1998, in Las Vegas, he married Jane Buckner. James loved to travel the country, especially with his Janie. He loved his children and grandchildren beyond words. James would do anything to bring a smile to their faces, especially telling silly jokes and loading them up with sugar.

He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Upton Rogers.

James is survived by his loving wife, Jane Rogers; daughters, Kelsey and husband Matt Zaragoza, Tiffany and husband Eric Anderson; sons, Justin and wife Amanda Rogers, Tyler and wife Liza Scallorn; mother, Sherry Rogers; sisters, Cozy Young, Sandra Kerbow; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Ella, Witten, Ruthie, Jude, Lucy, Anna, Benjamin, Addison, Miranda, Aubrey, Montana; special family, Terry Rogers- mother of Kelsey and Justin; as well as many lifelong friends and coworkers.
