James Gallup, born on July 29, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, whose presence enriched the lives of those around him.
James was known for his deep passion for cars and enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He found joy in hosting barbeques, creating cherished memories with his loved ones. His adventurous spirit and warmth made every gathering special and brought joy to many.
James leaves behind his wife, Deborah Gallup; his daughters, Tina and her husband Stacy Kuyawa, Christina and her husband Michael Miller; and his son, James and his wife Stephanie Gallup. He was a treasured son to his mother, Ruby Altena Gumpert. James is also survived by his loving sisters, Penny Gallup, Darlene and her husband Chris Benn; and his brother, Johnny Gallup.
His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Paul and Samantha Kuyawa, Brooke Jones, Shyann Kuyawa, Emily Jones, Kyle Jones, Gabrielle Jones; as well as his great-grandchildren, Greyson and Maci. He is further survived by his many nieces and nephews: Susan, Vivian, Melissa, Deborah, Madeline, Amanda, Jennifer, Frank, Johnny Jr., Charles, Oscar, and Aaron.
James is remembered fondly not only by his family but also by his brothers-in-law, Boyd Crutchfield and Gary Crutchfield, and his sister-in-law, Cynthia Hunter, who cherished their time spent with him.
The legacy of James Gallup will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends.
