James Phillip Darville

Apr 2, 1964 — Jun 13, 2026

Joshua, Tx

James Phillip Darville, beloved son, husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on June 13, 2026, in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. Born on April 2, 1964, in Fort Worth, James spent his life in the city he so deeply cherished and called home.

James was the devoted son of Alice Jordan, who survives him, and the late Marvin Darville. His family formed the foundation of his character—steadfast, compassionate, and a source of unwavering support to those fortunate enough to know him. James’s legacy is marked by his deep love for family, the importance he placed on relationships, and the values he upheld throughout his life.

He was a loving husband, having shared his life with his late wife Mary Ann, whose memory he always held dear. James’s commitment to family found new beginnings and joys with his surviving spouses, Jessica Darville and Audry Darville, both of whom stood by his side, sharing in life’s joys and challenges.

As a proud and caring father, James leaves behind his sons, James Jr. Darville and spouse Jessica Darville, Jonathon Darville, and Raymond Martinez and spouse Melissa Martinez, each carrying forward their father’s values and spirit. His presence in their lives was a guiding force, and his encouragement and wisdom will remain with them always.

Among those who mourn his loss are his brothers Billy Jordan (and his spouse Qwen), Ben Jordan, and Jerry Don Danner (and his spouse Dawn), who remember James as both a brother and a steadfast companion through life’s many chapters.

James’s role as a grandfather brought him special joy. Cherished memories and loving bonds were created with his granddaughters Taylnn, Adalen, Nancy, Courtney, and Jean, as well as his grandsons Raylan and Joseph. His affection for his grandchildren was boundless and a source of great pride.

His extended family includes three nieces and six nephews, all of whom were touched by his kindness and welcomed into his heart over the years.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Ann and his father Marvin Darville. Their memory endures in the hearts of all who loved them.

James Phillip Darville will be remembered for his compassionate nature, his commitment to family, and the quiet strength with which he lived his life. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him, but his legacy of love, integrity, and devotion will continue to guide and inspire his family for generations to come.

The Darville family and all who were touched by James’s kindness and spirit come together now in reflection and gratitude for the gift of his life. May he rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories he helped create and nurture.
