“Tony” • “T-Love”

April 17, 1975 – June 21, 2026

James Anthony Cook, affectionately known as “Tony” and lovingly called “T-Love” by his family and friends, was born on April 17, 1975, to Paula Faith Cook and James Anthony Taylor, who preceded him in death.

Tony graduated from La Marque High School in 1993 and went on to touch countless lives through his kindness, humor, and genuine love for others. He accepted Christ at an early age and carried a welcoming spirit throughout his life. Tony never met a stranger. His giving heart, infectious smile, and unforgettable laugh could brighten any room he entered.

Known as the life of the party, Tony loved singing, telling corny jokes, and bringing laughter wherever he went. His smile and laughter were contagious, and his loving spirit made everyone around him feel welcomed. Tony had a special gift for making memories and creating moments that will forever be treasured.

Above all, Tony loved his family. He treasured every opportunity to spend time with those he loved and took pride in creating lasting memories. His generosity, humor, and the love he poured into others will remain a lasting part of his legacy.

Tony resided in Crowley, Texas, where he passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026. Though his earthly journey has ended, the love, laughter, and memories he created will live on forever in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.

He leaves to cherish his memory and honor his legacy his three beloved daughters: Alana Cook of Texas City, Texas; Jamie Cook Bah (Abdoul Bah) of Arlington, Texas, who proudly serves in the United States Air Force; and Jordyn Beavers Cook of Houston, Texas.

He was also a proud grandfather to his two cherished grandchildren, Aubree Cook-Randle and Ameer Lewis, who brought immense joy and pride to his life.

He is also survived by his devoted brothers: Lester Collins (Tonya Collins) of Grand Prairie, Texas; Erron Allen (Shan Allen) of McKinney, Texas; Charles Malveaux Jr. of Texas City, Texas; Roshon Malveaux (Kim Malveaux) of Texas City, Texas; and Rickey Malveaux (Shonda Malveaux) of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Tony also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends with whom he built strong bonds and shared many unforgettable memories.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing Tony’s legacy of love, laughter, kindness, and faith will continue to live on through everyone he touched.
