Israel Moses Alvarez

Israel Moses Alvarez, beloved son, brother, uncle, and cherished friend, passed away on July 24, 2026, in his hometown of Fort Worth, at the age of 23. Born on August 19, 2002, in Fort Worth, Israel brought warmth, energy, and kindness to every life he touched.

Israel was known for his passionate love of the outdoors. He found joy in hiking and exploring the beauty of nature, often sharing those experiences with his close-knit family. His appreciation for the world extended into his many interests, including martial arts and exercising, hobbies that reflected his spirited approach to life and commitment to his own growth. Off the trails and outside the gym, Israel enjoyed quiet moments engrossed in a good chess match or simply spending quality time with those he held dearest.

A man of deep faith, Israel attended church at El Buen Pastor, where his gentle presence and friendly demeanor left a lasting impression on fellow congregants. His sense of community and devotion to his loved ones defined his character, setting a profound example for all who knew him.

Israel’s family held a special place in his heart. He is survived by his devoted mother, JoAnn Alvarez; his uncle who was like a father figure to him, Albert Alvarez; his siblings, Linda Alvarez and Sara Alvarez; his brothers, Alex Alvarez and Alex Urrutia; his nieces, Emily and Elianna Alvarez; and nephews, Juan Esparza, Braxton and Asher Yeargan, and Nathaniel Esparza. His circle of family was further enriched by Fransico Esparza, Conner Yeargan, and Estrella Alvarez—spouses of family members and extended companions. He will also be lovingly remembered by his treasured aunts and uncles: Albert, Angel, Gloria, Mindy, and Marisela, each of whom shared in Israel’s journey and joys.

Israel is reunited in peace with those who preceded him in death: his sister, Emily Monique Alvarez; his cousin, Arturo Rodriguz; his father, Juan Carlos Rangel Jr.; his grandmother, Romelia Alvarez; and his grandfather, Arturo Alvarez.

To all who had the privilege of knowing him, Israel embodied kindness, resilience, and an irreplaceable spirit. His memory will continue to inspire those left behind to appreciate the adventures of life, the power of connection, and the beauty of simple moments.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Israel’s life at a visitation on July 31, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, held at Skyvue Funeral Home, 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. A funeral service will follow the next day, August 1, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Skyvue Funeral Home. All who knew and loved Israel Moses Alvarez are welcome to attend and honor his remarkable life.
