Hiram Itson Chaney, 92, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024.
Memorial Service: 11 am Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Pleasantview Baptist Chruch, Arlington, Texas.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers the family asked donations to be made to Pleasantview Baptist Building Fund.
Hiram was born on October 29, 1931 to John and Naomi Chaney in Hico Tx. He married the love of his life Mary Ann Little on September 13, 1952 in Stephenville, TX. Hiram loved yard working, whittling, gardening, Thanksgiving and Christmas. His greatest life lesson was Jesus Saves and his treasured accomplishments was marriage, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Hiram was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 5 sisters, son, Larry Chaney, son in law, Keith Damron, grandson, Douglas Hiram Chaney, and great grandson, Hiram Joseph Damron.
Survivors: Wife of 71 years, Mary Ann Chaney; sons, Doug Chaney and wife Maraine, Rick Chaney and wife Sheila, Jerry Chaney and wife Josephine; daughter, Brenda Damron; 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, daughter in law Carmen Chaney.
