Hardee Charles Minnis, of Burleson, Texas, formerly of Kennedale, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.
Celebration of Life: 6:00 PM Monday, November 27, 2023 at Skyvue Funeral Home.

Hardee was born on November 24, 1941 in Fort Worth, Texas to William Creed Minnis and Nellie Lucille Edmunds.
Upon graduating, he proudly served in the United Stated Army. He then went on to wear many hats in the work force. Hardee worked in insurance sales, Scramblers, Big Daddy's and Lil Daddy's Burgers, and Tandy Leather.
In his free time, he enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing cards, pranking family and reading western books. Hardee's caring spirit, loving smile and contagious laugh will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Hardee is preceded in death by Lucille Lowery, Tom Lowery, William C. Minnis, Conni Miller, Hardee Minnis, Jr., Bill Minnis,Vicki Minnis.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 49 years, Sharon Elizabeth Minnis; daughter, Brandi Smith; sons, Michael Minnis, James Roper, Nic Minnis; sister, Sallie Watson (George), Diane Verde (John), Carolyn Minnis; brothers, Eddie Minnis (Dana), Tom Lowery (Vicky), Creed Minnis; grandchildren, Neana Willis (John), Brittany Kiewet (Brad), Mason Minnis (Piper), Haven and Oasis Minnis, Audrea Minnis, Clyde Smith and Leah, Lucy Smith, Bryce Minnis; great-grandchildren, Connor, John, Dietrick, Alistair, Coralee; nephews, Ed Minnis, Lee and Lyle Lowery; beloved friends, Donetta Terrell, Gloria Johnson-Nash, Kat Aleman, Ken and Anne Peterson; and numerous other extended family members, and loving friends.
