Gwendolyn Carol Lockwood

Gwendolyn Carol Lockwood has peacefully gone to be with the Lord on June 11, 2025, at the age of 77.

Gwen was born on December 24, 1947, to Ethel and G.C. Britton in Monticello, Arkansas. Gwen married Donald Paul Lockwood on June 3, 1967, in McGhee, Arkansas. She earned a bachelor's and taught at Everman High School for a little over 30 years. She loved her job, students, and fellow faculty members. Her and Don were attended Harvest Assembly of God in Fort Worth, and she was a member of the Texas Archeology Society. She loved music, canoeing on the Guadalupe River, archeology, singing in the choir, and traveling.

Gwen loved her family, loved her church, loved her job, but most importantly, she loved the Lord.

Gwen is welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her daughter, Donna Segoviano, and her parents, G.C. and Ethel.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 58 years, Don Lockwood; her daughter, Sherri and Verlon Oliver; her son and son-in-law, Brian Lockwood and Pete Segoviano; her brother, Bennie Britton; her grandchildren, Sylissa and Dalton Rains, Lexie Segoviano, Yomaira and Pepe Garcia, Mitchell McDearmon, Max McDearmon, Aiden McDearmon, Reagan and Spencer Meyers, Chloe Lockwood, Hayden Lockwood; her great-grandchildren, Ansom Rains, Mia Garcia, and Briella Garcia.
