Carl Gene Gouker, 72 passed away on July 26, 2021 in Burleson.
Funeral services will be held on August 4, 2021 at 2:00pm at Skyvue Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the ceremony at J. Gilligan’s Bar and Grill in Arlington.
Carl, a resident of Alvarado, was born on September 26, 1948 in Prague, Oklahoma to Elvin “Brandy” Lorn Gouker and Mildred DeLores Kinnett Gouker. He served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. Carl worked as an Engineer in the wastewater treatment industry for 30 years. He was a raving fan of both the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. Carl enjoyed golf, grilling, story telling, rescuing pugs, college football and spending time with family and friends.
Carl is preceded in death by his father, Brandy Gouker and his brother, Earl Dean Gouker.
Carl is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lynda Palmer Gouker; daughters Molly McNew, Katherine McNew and Deanna Anders; son-in-law, Matt Clark; mother, Millie Gouker; grand children, Benjamin Klimek, Samuel Slattery, Scarlett Velarde, William Zarecky, and Tate Anders; and pugs, Patty Melt, Chuck, and Walter.
