Baltazar Gonzalez, 59, passed away on Monday, February, 17, 2014. Born in Guanajuato, Mexico, our beautiful friend, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and son lived and worked in the Roaring Fork Valley for the past seventeen years- fourteen of those with Silich Construction where he was a valued core employee known for his unerring work ethic, positive presence and easy sense of humor. A kind charismatic soul who would give the shirt off of his back to someone in need and often did to newly arrived compatriots. He will be missed by his large family and all who knew and loved him. Preceded in death by his father Bonifacio Gonzalez. Survived by his Wife, Elvia Hernandez, his mother, Esperanza Vigil; son, Jasmany Gonzalez; daughters, Ma. Del Carmen Gonzalez, Griselda Gonzalez of Ft. Worth; brothers Jesus Gonzalez, Javier Gonzalez, Bonifacio Gonzalez, Isais Gonzalez, Reynaldo Gonzalez; sisters, Carmen Gonzalez, Amalia Gonzalez; along with numerous nieces and nephews and nine grandchildren.
