Glenn Alan Covington died peacefully on July 14, 2025, at the age of 68.
Glenn was born July 5, 1957, in Fort Worth, Texas, to parents James Roy Covington and Elizabeth Jayne Copling Covington Nasche. Glenn graduated Lake Worth High School and attended Texas Wesleyan University. He worked for Birdville ISD Faculty Management and was the owner of Covington Roofing for more than 30 years. Glenn attended the United Methodist Church. Glenn was affiliated with IOOF, and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling. He received the Texas Girls' Choir Father of the Year award for outstanding service to the organization.
Welcoming Glenn to his Heavenly home are his mother and father, grandmother, Thelma Richeson Copling, a niece and nephew.
Those left to remember and cherish Glenn's memory are his daughter, Dr. Hannah Anthony and spouse Ronald Anthony; sisters, Alicia and her husband Craig, Jeri Covington; brother, James David and his other half Michelle; grandchildren, Athena, Amelia, Ty; special family and friends, Marguerite (his ex-wife with whom he remained close), Jennifer and her daughters; as well as numerous other family and friends.
