Donna Sue George Service: Monday January 30th at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Road in Mansfield, Texas.
Immediate Family only viewing from 8 to 9am and Funeral Services from 9am to 10am.
Graveside service will be held at Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas at 3:30pm.
Donna Sue George, 86, passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023. She was born on October 20, 1936, in Turkey, Texas, and married Jerry Don George, of Turkey, Texas. Donna Sue completed cosmetology school and the couple resided in Hereford and Plainview, Texas where she worked as a hairdresser for over 40 years. Donna Sue was the youngest of 13 and was preceded in death by; her parents, Walter Lee Lacy and Susie Valentine Bailey Lacy, and her siblings: I J Lacy, Sis Lacy Parker, Robert (Sonny) Lacy, Bernie Lacy Barker George, Oline Lacy Dumont, Lorena Lacy Collins, Florene Lacy Wynn, Ernest Lacy, Bobbie Lacy Eaves, Evelyn Lacy Lyles, Joyce Lacy Plaster, Jean Lacy Brantley, and by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Don George.
Survivors include: her children, Mitchell George and wife Regina of Glen Rose, Monica Matthews and husband Curtis of Grand Prairie, Steve George and wife Rachel of Houston; Sue’s grandchildren, Caidon Glover and husband Jeremy, Carolin Ballmaier and husband Matt, Curstin George, Colton George and wife Destiny, Lauren Musser and fiancé Vittorio Galuppi, Augustus Matthews, Ethan Matthews, Madison George, Jacob George; her Great grandchildren: Beckett Glover and Mia Galuppi; and her brother in law Ronald George of Tulia.
