Gary Duke Wolf D.O.

Gary Duke Wolf D.O., age 74, of Mansfield, Texas, passed away on January 8, 2026. He was born on August 2, 1951, in Stillwater, Oklahoma, to Jimmie and Rilda (Baker) Wolf.

Dr. Wolf devoted 44 years to the practice of medicine, including 40 years serving the Mansfield community, where he became a trusted and beloved physician to generations of families. His commitment to healing and service extended beyond his practice as he also proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Air Force.

Gary was a faithful member of First Methodist Mansfield, where he found strength in his faith and community. Outside of his professional life, he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, and traveling, and he especially treasured moments shared with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Rilda (Baker) Wolf, and his daughter, Chrissy Wolf.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sheri Wolf; his children, Angie Wolf Olivarez and her husband Martin Olivarez, Sarah Wolf, Ann-Marie Montou-Duncan and her husband Colton Duncan, and Zachary Montou; and his grandchildren, Ezra Olivarez, Arie Olivarez, Scout Olivarez, and Remington Montou-Duncan. He is also survived by his siblings Becky Wolf Greer, Elisabeth Wolf McGuire and her husband Andy, Steve Wolf and his wife Katie and extended family members, dear friends, and countless patients whose lives he touched with his compassion and dedication.

Dr. Wolf will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to others, his deep love for his family, and the lasting legacy of care he leaves within the Mansfield community.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at First Methodist Church Mansfield on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., led by Pastor Mike Ramsdell. For those unable to attend in person, a live feed of the service will be available at: www.fmcm.org/funeral
