Gabriel Gakwavu, of Fort Worth, Texas, has passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 88.
Gabriel was born on January 1, 1936, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to Elizabeth Nyiramadaga and Alberto Semana. He married Josephine Nyirakamana in Jomba, DRC. He was self-employed and was a practicing Catholic.
Gabriel is preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Alberto.
Gabriel is survived by his wife, Josephine Nyirakamana; his daughters, Jeanne Kankundiye, Eugenie Umulisa, Mukagrase Aveline, Kayitesi Denise, Antoinette Karire; his son, Vincent Safari; twenty gradnchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two nieces.
