Barbara Ann Franks, 74, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Visitation Service: 6pm-8pm, Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.
Funeral Service: 12pm, Friday, May 5, 2023 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel.
Interment: 2:15pm at the Dallas National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway Dallas Tx, 75236.

Barbara was born on September 7, 1948, in Mena, Arkansas to mother and father, Velma (Egger) and Otis Grady Ryals. As she blossomed into the woman she was known to be she met and fell in love with Billy Franks and became an official Franks on June 29, 1966. She was a loving wife and devoted mother to her children. When Barbara did get some time to herself, she loved to scrap book and was always on the hunt for a good deal when it came to shopping. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with all her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded by her parents Velma and Grady Ryals, brothers, Lenn Ryals Sr., and Vernon Ryals.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Billy Franks of Kennedale, Tx; daughter, Tammy and Rodney Harrell of Mansfield, Tx; sons, William and Melinda Franks of Midlothian, Tx, Brian and Cheryl Franks of Blum, Tx; brothers, Bob Ryals of Fort Worth, Tx, Micky and Sharon Ryals of Fort Worth, Tx; grandchildren,, Brad and Jessie, Brittany and Donny, Brian Jr. and Stacey, Christian and Ashton, Austen, Lexi, Kaleigh, Aaron, Ashlynn, Chase; great-grandchildren, Madi and Caden Harrell, Conner and Hunter Franks, 14 nieces, 13 nephews and many more loved family and friends near and far.
