Jacqueline Lee "Jackie" Fillingim

January 20, 1941 — October 26, 2021

Jackie Fillingim, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Memorial Visitation: 1-3pm Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Skyvue Funeral Home.

Jackie was born on January 20, 1941 in Memphis, Tennessee. She married the love of her life, Cy Fillingim on April 14, 1961 and together they had two beautiful daughters, Deana and Tammi.

Jackie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and she always had a smile on her face. She was also an accomplished artist. Throughout her life she illustrated several children’s coloring books, painted several private murals around the metropex and painted countless paintings for her business “Jackie’s Originals.” Jackie was always supportive of her friends and family, encouraging everyone to develop and hone their own art forms. From this encouragement, she inspired her husband’s woodworking, her grandson began to write short stories, and her daughters took on barrel racing and horseback riding. Jackie impacted people’s lives not only through her beautiful works of art, but with her loving and caring spirit. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Cy Fillingim; daughters, Deana Gavrel and Tammi Fillingim; grandchild, Colt Gavrel; great-grandchild, Link Gavrel; and many special friends.
