Jimmy Odell Elkins, of Benbrook, Texas, passed away at home surrounded by his loving daughters on Tuesday, November 29, 2022.

Jimmy was born on May 25, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ocie Elkins and Mary L. Ledbetter.
He proudly served in the United States Army and then went on to work for Gunderson Rail Service in Cleburne, Texas. In his free time, he loved to fish and raise cattle.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ledbetter and Ocie Elkins; sister, Norma Keeble.
He is survived by his daughters, Missey Elkins, Tonya Elkins, Leslie Sommers and Greg; grandchildren, Siera Elkins, Caleb Elkins, Tyler and Alanis Rhine, Kaitlin Rhine, Branden King, Bailey Jones, Brecken Sommers; great-grandchild, Oliver Rhine; sisters, Donna Gregory and Darrell, Mary Mauldin; brother, Richard Lemley; many nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
