Elizabeth Ann Burgess of Arlington, Texas, has passed away on March 14, 2024, after a battle with leukemia.
 
Beth was born on Midland, Michigan on May 2, 1964, to Kenneth Burgess and Kim McKimmy. She graduated from H.H. Dow High School in 1982, and then from the University of Wisconsin at La Cross with a degree in Physical Therapy in 1986. She moved to Texas with her first husband, Jason Schuette. Beth was a practicing physical therapist with Methodist Health Care System in the Mansfield/Arlington area for most of her career. She received an M.S. in Physical Therapy from Texas Women's University in Dallas.
 
Beth was a caring and nurturing person, not just in her career, but also in her personal and family life. As an animal lover, countless dogs and cats have been thankful for her generosity over the years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield. She enjoyed the outdoors, music, and spending time with her family.
 
Beth was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Burgess.
 
Beth is survived by her partner, Ty Ellis; her sons Matthew and Michael Schuette; her grandchildren, Brynlee and William Schuette; her mother, Jane Burgess; her brother, Robert Burgess.
