Edward Eugene Frieze

Edward Eugene Frieze, 82, of Palo Pinto, TX, passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025. Ed was born on June 3, 1943, in Springdale, Arkansas.

Ed was a dedicated business owner who was well known for his hard work and entrepreneurial spirit. Beyond his professional life, Ed’s greatest joys came from his family and friends and spending time outdoors at his cabin in the Angel Fire, New Mexico and his lake house on Palo Pinto Lake.

He is survived by his brother, Robin Frieze and his wife Julie Frieze. His children, Don Frieze; Edwina Cherry and her husband, Steve Cherry; and Robert Frieze. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren, Calvin Frieze, Ryan Cherry and wife Emily Cherry, Jordan Becknal and husband William Becknal, and Kristen Walter, as well as seven great-grandchildren who brought him immense happiness.

Ed will be remembered for his strength, work ethic, and the love he shared with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
