Eddie Moseley, a beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on August 16, 2023, in Mansfield, Texas. Born on August 19, 1933, in Fort Worth, Texas, Eddie lived a life full of dedication to his work and love for his family. He was often described as a quiet and observant man with a quick wit and a sharp sense of humor.

Eddie served in the United States Army during the Korean War. His bravery and dedication were recognized through various honors. For his service during this challenging period in history, he received the Korean War Medal, US Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.

He then went on to spent 27 years as a Warehouse Supervisor for the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). His commitment to his job and loyalty to UTA earned him the admiration and respect of his colleagues. He brought efficiency and organization to his role and made significant contributions to the success of the university.

Outside of work, Eddie had a passion for traveling. He loved exploring new places and took his family on memorable trips throughout most of the Western States and throughout Canada. Camping was another cherished activity for Eddie, and he enjoyed many wonderful outdoor adventures with his loved ones.

One of Eddie's favorite hobbies was metal detecting. He had a talent for uncovering hidden treasures and often spent weekends pursuing this exciting pastime. Additionally, he was an avid CB enthusiast, connecting with fellow enthusiasts through radio communication. 

Sports held a special place in Eddie's heart, particularly the Tom Landry Era Cowboys. As an enthusiastic fan, he would cheer passionately for his favorite team during games. In his personal life, Eddie found great happiness in jokes and occasional pranks. His quick wit brought smiles to those around him, brightening their days with laughter. Eddie's commitment to spreading joy was evident in every joke he shared.

Eddie's memory will forever be cherished by his surviving family members and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary Moseley, who stood by his side through life's journey; daughter, Pam Orosco and her husband Robert; son, Gary Moseley and his wife Cathy; his grandchildren, Melissa, Brittany, Diana, Katie, Jonathan, and Lori; his great-grandchildren: Esiah, Esa, Eli, Elena, Elliott, and Esther. Each one of them brought immeasurable joy to his life; and his niece, Lisa Miller. 

The visitation for Eddie Moseley will take place on August 22, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd in Mansfield, Texas. Friends and loved ones are invited to pay their respects during this time. His funeral service will be held the following day, August 23 at 10:00 AM at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield. The service will be a time for family and friends to honor and remember Eddie's legacy.

Eddie Moseley's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His kindness, sense of humor, and dedication to his family and work left a lasting impact on the lives he touched. Though he may no longer be with us physically, the memories of Eddie will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Eddie's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
