Dreama Marie Smith

Dreama Marie Smith, cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and faithful friend, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, in Burleson at the age of 78.

Born on December 2, 1947, Dreama graced the world with warmth, kindness, and a steadfast love for her family and community. She was the treasured daughter of the late David Kelly and Orpha Williams, whose guidance and love helped shape her compassionate spirit.

Dreama shared a beautiful and enduring partnership with her husband, Kenneth Smith. Together, they built a close and loving family that was always at the center of Dreama’s life. She is deeply mourned by her husband Kenneth, daughter Hannah Guinn and son-in-law Bradley Guinn, son Aaron Smith and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Smith, and son Mathew Smith. Her legacy continues in her adored grandchildren, Samantha Guinn, Kenneth Smith, and Andrew Smith, as well as her nephews Jonathan Kelly and Stephan Kelly.

Dreama’s family also includes her brother, Pete Kelly, and sister-in-law Barbara Kelly, who were constant sources of support and affection throughout her life.

Family was never far from Dreama’s heart, but she extended her caring nature to everyone she met. Driven by her faith and love for others, Dreama was an active member of Worth Baptist Church, where she devoted many hours volunteering and supporting her church community. Her generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand touched numerous lives and will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Dreama was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in crochet, which she approached with patience and creativity. Gardening was another passion, and her garden blossomed under her attentive care. A lifelong learner, Dreama enjoyed reading books and found joy in working through puzzles, always eager to challenge her mind.

Throughout her years, Dreama quietly shaped those around her through example. She cherished her walks of faith, the laughter of her grandchildren, the love of her husband, and the closeness of family gatherings. Though she has left this world, the values she instilled and the moments she created will remain with those she loved.

Dreama’s memory will be honored at a funeral service on July 29, 2026, at Skyvue Funeral Home, located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by the service from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.

She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, church, and all whose lives she touched.
