Donna Lee Teague

September 26, 1939 — August 13, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Lee Teague, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and good friend, who left this world on August 13, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on September 26, 1939, in Hardesty, Oklahoma, Donna was a bright light to everyone she met throughout her life.

Donna made her mark in the community with a proud career in customer service at Wal-Mart, where she dedicated 22 years of her life to providing assistance and support to customers. Her warm smile and kind spirit touched the lives of many, making her a treasured member of the Wal-Mart family and a beloved figure to all who walked through the doors.

A proud graduate of Hardesty High School, class of 1957, Donna carried the joys and memories of her formative years into her adult life, always cherishing the values learned during those early days. She was a woman of many interests and passions; she found joy in watching the Dallas Cowboys play, engaged her mind with challenging jigsaw puzzles on her iPad, and enjoyed showing off her skills in bowling. These hobbies brought her happiness and created some of her fondest memories shared with friends and family.

Donna leaves behind her loving husband, John Dewayne Teague, who was her partner in life and love. Together, they built a family filled with laughter and warmth. Her legacy continues through her daughters, Stacy Taylor and husband Dave, and Dorothy Weigel and husband Monte; her sons, John Teague II and wife Angie, and Dusty Teague and wife Nikki. Donna was especially proud of her role as a grandmother to Sierra McLean and Cory, Chase Allen Hobbs and Kelsea, Bailee Teague and Frank, CJ Hobbs and Anna, Britnee Teague and Alicia, John Dewayne Teague III and Dusty Wayne, all of whom she adored. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren, including Benjamin, Bentlee, Luke, Madison, Levi, Evelynn, and Emma, whose lives will forever carry her love and spirit.

Although Donna leaves behind a loving family, she is preceded in death by her father, Oscar Brown; her mother, Hazel Brown; and her sister, Mona Richerson, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms.

A visitation will be held on August 19, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. Friends and family will gather to honor her memory and celebrate a life well-lived. A graveside service will follow on August 20, 2025, at Cope Cemetery in Burleson, Texas, starting at 11:00 AM.

Donna Lee Teague's life was a gift to all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered for the love she shared and the impact she made in her community and within her family. Her spirit will continue to shine brightly in our hearts, guiding us every step of the way.
