Diana Lynn Skaggs, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and devoted follower of Christ, passed away peacefully at home on December 12, 2025, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 22, 1952, Diana lived a life full of faith, family, and joy, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
Diana’s greatest treasures were her faith in Jesus Christ and her family. She raised three wonderful sons—Micheal, Stephen, and Mark—with unwavering love and guidance, often referring to them affectionately as “her babies” no matter their age. As a grandmother to six grandchildren—Morgan, Taylee, Madison, Mackenzie, Travis, and Savannah—and great-grandmother to three great-grandchildren—Tex, Gracie, and Harper—she delighted in spoiling them with hugs, stories from the Bible, and endless rounds of games. Whether it was a lively game of Monopoly, Chicken Foot, Scrabble, or cards around the kitchen table, Diana’s infectious laughter and competitive spirit brought everyone together, creating cherished memories that will endure for generations.
A woman of deep spirituality, Diana found solace and strength in her relationship with Jesus. She was an active member of Grace Temple for over 30 years, where she volunteered in the children’s ministry and led Bible study groups. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, inspiring her to live with kindness, compassion, and grace.
Diana is predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Paul Skaggs. She is survived by her sons and their spouses: Micheal (Julie), Stephen, and Mark (Chrystal); her six grandchildren; her three great-grandchildren; sister Donna Pope, numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held at Skyvue Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., followed by interment at Skyvue.
Diana’s legacy of love, faith, and playful joy will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
