David Dees

David Lee Dees, 62, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on September 20, 2017 in Austin, Texas.

Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, September 25th at Skyvue Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 26th at Skyvue Funeral Home with Orlando Reyes of Without Walls Church, officiating. Burial and arrangements will follow at Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

David Lee Dees was born at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas to Claude Edward Dees, and Bertha Jane Dees on April 8, 1955. He graduated from O.D. Wyatt high school in Fort Worth, Texas. He married Kathy Lynn Wooten on July 2, 1976 in Arlington, Texas. Prior to working as Superintendent for Lippe Construction the past 3 years, David was a veteran entrepreneur who operated Dees Services for over 20 years.

David is preceded in death by his Father, Claude Edward Dees.

David is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kathy Dees, children Matt Dees and wife Jennifer, Jason Dees and wife Bernadette, mother Bertha Jane Dees, brother Danny Dees and wife Pam, sister Debbie White and husband Bobby, mother-in-law Evelyn Dowell, Grandchildren, Morgan Haddock and husband Cameron, Mariah Escalante, Kaylee Dees, Alexis Lopez, Mya Sanchez, Mylie Dees, and great-Grandchild Carter Haddock.

Pallbearers will be Matt Dees, Jason Dees, Danny Dees, Caleb Dees, Landon Dees, and Cameron Haddock.
