Debra Kathleen Waters, a devoted Quality Control Manager for Call Centers and cherished member of St. John Church, Grand Prairie Campus, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Born on December 25, 1953, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Debra’s life was marked by dedication to her career, a passion for travel, and an unwavering commitment to her family.
Debra earned her Bachelor of Science degree, which laid the foundation for her successful career in quality management. Throughout her professional journey, she was respected for her meticulous attention to detail and her ability to foster excellence in every call center she managed. Her leadership and commitment to quality were hallmarks of her work ethic and earned her the admiration of colleagues and clients alike.
Beyond her career, Debra had a zest for life that was most evident in her love for traveling. She delighted in exploring the world’s diverse cultures and landscapes, experiences she often cherished sharing with loved ones. Despite her many adventures, there was no greater joy for Debra than spending time with her family, nurturing close bonds that remained central to her life.
Debra is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Janice Henry, and son-in-law, Michael Henry Sr.; her brother, Larry Porter, and sister-in-law, Debra Porter; her grandchildren, Michael Henry Jr. and Michella Baker; and her nephew, Larry Porter Jr., along with a devoted extended family and many friends who were touched by her kindness and generous spirit.
She joins in eternal rest her beloved mother, Mattie Waters, and sister, JoAnn Waters, whose memories she held dear.
Debra Kathleen Waters’ legacy is one of dedication, love, and an adventurous spirit. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to be a guiding light for her family and friends. Services honoring her life will be held with the warmth and respect fitting of a woman who gave so much to those around her.
