Debra Lynn Smith

Debra Lynn Smith, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on June 4th, 2023 in her hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. She was surrounded by her family's love and prayers during her last moments.

Born on June 22nd, 1957 in Fort Worth to Tommye and Robert George, Debra grew up with a passion for music. She had an ear for melodies that could soothe the soul and raise spirits high. Her talent for music inspired her throughout her life.

Debra was married to Johnny Smith for many years, and together they created a beautiful life filled with love and cherished memories. They evidenced that true love lasts a lifetime.

Besides music, Debra had a keen interest in racing. Whenever she got the chance to enjoy some downtime, the roaring engines and excitement of racing always provided an adrenaline rush that she held close to her heart.

Debra's memory will forever be treasured by many family members and friends. She was survived by her sons Kevin Fry alongside his wife Jenny Fry and William Smith also engaged to Angie smith; sister Dayna Wilson; brother Mike George along with his wife Joan George; grandchildren Kamron Fry, Jordyn Fry and Kason Fry; niece Carley George as well as nephews Corey Wilson & Chad Wilson. Special family members Landon Wilson alongside Claire Wilson, Reagan Wilson and Reese Wilson will also hold her memory deep in their hearts.

A memorial service in remembrance of Debra Lynn Smith's beautiful life is planned on June 29th at the Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd in Mansfield starting from 6:00 pm till 7:00 pm where we bid farewell to our beloved one last time. Though her absence leaves a void at our tender hearts especially for those who knew how special she was to all of us present here today, we will hold dear to the many sweet memories we shared, and may her soul rest in eternal peace.
