David Lee Burdine

David Lee Burdine passed away all too early in life on May 22, 2026. He was born November 7, 1985, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Verl "Lee" Burdine and Carol Mooney.

Through many ups and downs in life, David was always supported and loved. Clara Holloman was a steady light in his life for 8 years. His sisters, Holly Mooney and Misty Burdine loved his laugh and sense of humor and were always there for him when he needed it. One of David's greatest roles was being a godfather to Cheyenne Pruitt, Shaylynn Pruitt and Shylah Collins.They lit up each other's days with games and silly antics. David loved being on the water swimming and fishing, connecting with nature and relaxing. Above all, he especially cherished the time he was able to hit the open road and spend that time with his dad riding motorcycles. He is loved and remembered by many cousins and special family too numerous to name. 

David is welcomed into heaven by Carol Burdine, Tracy Collins, Lonnie Lemons and P.J. (Paul Douglas).
