Darren LeBurke Howard Sr.

Darren LeBurke Howard Sr., age 55, passed away on July 23, 2023, in his hometown of Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on November 22, 1967, to his loving parents Louis and Gloria Howard.

A gentle and caring soul, Darren touched the lives of many with his warm heart and infectious smile. He possessed an unmatched kindness that endeared him to everyone he met.

In his leisure time, Darren had many favorite hobbies and interests that he spent time engaging in. Fishing was one activity that provided him solace. He found serenity in spending hours by the water's edge, casting lines and hoping for a bite. Sports were also a significant part of Darren's life; he enjoyed watching games and rooting for his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins. As a little league coach, he shared this passion with the younger generations and imparted valuable life lessons through sportsmanship and teamwork. Darren also had an eye for media and loved everything from books, movies, and music.

Darren is preceded in death by his grandparents, six uncles and one aunt.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Darren L. Howard, Jr.; parents, Louis and Gloria Howard; his step-sister Angela Ellison; step-brothers Louis Howard, Jr. and Kenneth Shaw, his granddaughter D'Aundria Howard, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many loving friends. 

Darren's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him best. However, his memory will forever live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of sharing in his journey. 

Services to honor Darren LeBurke Howard Sr.'s life will be held on July 27, 2023. The visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Skyvue Funeral Home located at 7220 Rendon Bloodworth Rd, Mansfield, TX 76063. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Skyvue Memorial Gardens from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

Darren LeBurke Howard Sr.'s time with us may have come to an end, but his lasting impact will forever resonate with those fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in eternal peace knowing that he was deeply loved and admired by all whose lives he touched.
