Darlene L. Baker, of Burleson, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 25, 2023 at the age of 83.

Funeral Service: 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at McPherson Road Baptist Church, Burleson, Texas.

Interment: Immediately following services at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield, Texas.

Those left behind to cherish Darlene's memory are her loving husband, Ellis Baker; sons, Jerry Slate (Cindy), Larry Slate, Kelly Slate; sisters, Carol Ann Burke, Barbara Meiksell, Sandra Underhill; grandchildren, Ashley Vanderlinden, Michael and Tatiana Vanderlinden, Chris Vanderlinden, David and Shanel Slate, Jeremy Slate, Heather and Todd Reed, Andrea and Oscar Denis, Garrett Slate; great-grandchildren, Addison Austin, Ava Tyer, Everett Reed, Brenden Reed, Joshua Slate, Aria Slate, Alexis, Elizabeth, Noah, Ryder Vanderlinden, Maddie and Eliana Denis; great great grandchild, Colson Watson; numerous nieces, nephews, church family and loving friends.
