Danny L. Rickett

Danny L. Rickett, a beloved father, paw-paw, and friend, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Mansfield, Texas. He was born on September 22, 1948, in Denton, Texas. Danny will always be remembered for his loving nature and his ability to bring smiles to the faces of those around him.

Danny's life will be celebrated at a Memorial Service on November 25, 2023. The service will take place at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield, Texas. It will begin at 12:00 PM and conclude at 1:00 PM.

Danny was a man who had many interests and hobbies that brought him joy throughout his life. He had a passion for fishing, NASCAR racing, and collecting movies. These activities allowed him to enjoy his leisure time and pursue his interests.

However, Danny's proudest accomplishments were not related to his hobbies but rather to the love he shared with his family and friends. He will be forever cherished as the most loving daddy and proud paw-paw by his daughters Brenda Josh Bohanon and Jamie Lori Moore; sons Greg Chasey Winchester and Terry Missy Moore; grandchildren Ally Turquette, Wyatt Bohanon, Shelby Berg, Lauren McCoy, Linzy McCoy, Chaz Ventriz; former wife Judy Teague; sister Brenda Ritchie; niece Kim Bauman; nephews Mark Ritchie Ronnie Rickett Corey Rickett; anyone he considered family and special friends he made throughout his life.

In addition to his immediate family members mentioned above, Danny is proceded by his mother Ruby Rickett and father Sidney Rickett; brother Ronald Rickett. They were an integral part of Danny's life and provided him with love and support.

During difficult moments in our lives, certain individuals extend their kindness and friendship unconditionally. For Danny L. Rickett, that person was Leona Wadkins. We express our heartfelt gratitude to Leona for being a longtime friend to Danny, providing him with kindness, and standing by his side through thick and thin.

Danny's genuine and caring nature touched the lives of many. He was adored not only by his family but also by the special friends he made throughout his life. His warm smile and infectious laughter will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
