Cynthia Ann Scranton

Cynthia Ann Dotson-Scranton has gone to be with the Lord on February 19, 2025, at the age of 72.

Cynthia was born on July 21, 1952, in Galveston, Texas, to Allison Dotson, Jr. and Peggy June Palmer Dotson. She attended primary school in Austin County, graduated from Sealy High School, and was a student at Blinn Junior College in Brenham, Texas. She attended Bethel Baptist Church in Sealy at an early age. On November 17, 1972, she married Otis Herman Scranton, Jr. in Sealy.

Cynthia was welcomed into Heaven by her parents, Allison and Peggy Dotson.

Those left to cherish Cynthia's memory are her husband of 52 years, Otis H. Scranton, Jr.; her daughters, Kerah D. Scranton and Kristal D. Scranton; her son, Otis H. Scranton III; her sisters, Pamela Dotson Walker (Joele) of Bryan, Tx, Wanda Dotson of Fort Worth, Tx; her brother, Allison Dotson III (Rita) of Sealy, Tx; her grandchildren, Patricia, Tysha, Clete Jr., Daniel Jackson, Kendrick and Kendrell Scranton, and her 11 great-grandchildren; her nieces and nephews, Courtney Walker, Kimberly McDonald, Tamika Dotson, Allison Danielle Dotson, Bryce Walker, and Justin Walker; along with her brother and sister in-laws, cousins, family, and friends.
