Crosby Ojeifo Uwagbai was born on December 27, 1955 Illubirin, Lagos Island of Lagos state Nigeria. He was the first Son of the parents and the third child of ten children.
After completing high school and receiving his diploma at the age of 16, he was sent to Germany by his father to further his education in the Arts. Then later he moved to Paris, France to study and excel more in his Artwork professionally. At that point, he finished his education internationally and decided to move back to Nigeria in 1977.
In 1978, he moved to South Carolina temporarily for school, and then eventually moved to Dallas, Texas to finish his education. After graduating from Dallas Baptist University with a Bachelor's Degree in Art's and Master's Degree in Program Management.
In 1983, he met his wife Elizabeth Uwagbai, dated for a year and got married in 1984. The Lord bledded the Uwagbai couple with four children. Crosby was a devoted husband who loved his family. He was a gentl and humble man who accomodated people to the best of his abilities. He will be remembered as a hard-working, strong, loving, resilient and determined man who took pleasure in positively impacting the lives of people around him, especially children who were less privileged.
His art programs kept kids out of drugs and gangs, and plenty of the kids (who are adults now) can attest to the facts.
The pivotal moments of his life were not centered on himself, but on his children's success.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth, and his children, Frederick, Charles, Stephanie and Sarah.
He went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Rather than mourn his death, he would like for everyone to celebrate his life and legcay.
