Norma June Cox

June 1, 1938 — October 31, 2022

Norma “June” Cox, of Crowley, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at the age of 84.

Celebration of Life: 11:00am Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Skyvue Funeral Home, Mansfield, Texas.
Inurnment: 2:15pm Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.

June became the youngest of six siblings on June 1, 1938 to Geneva Freeman Tomlin and Oscar Tomlin in Arlington, Texas.

She attended Birdville High School and then went on to become a hairdresser and business owner. She married Billie Cox in July of 1956 in Cater County, and they were married for 62 wonderful years before he passed away in 2018.

June loved to laugh, spend time with family, camping, playing cards with friends and to shop, shop, shop! Her caring spirit and loving smile will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Billie Cox; son, Blake Cox; parents, and numerous siblings.

June is survived by her daughter, Tange Smith and husband, Charles; son, Blaine Cox and wife, Debbie; sister, Barbara Fitzsimmons; grandchildren, Ryan Cox, Brandon Cox and wife, Ana, Grant Cox and significant other, Christina, Kandice Blevins and husband, Joey, Chace Smith and wife, Abigail, Kimberly Williams, and Jeremy Cox; great-grandchildren, Jayla Thrash, Gunnar Blevins, Kannon Blevins, AvaLynn Smith, Bailey Priest, Beau Cox; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A special thank you to Elara Caring Hospice Team for the love they provided June and her family.
