On Sunday October 17, 2021, Roy Lee Claunch passed away at the age of 69.

Roy was born on February 17, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to Robert and Mary Claunch. He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1971 and went on to work in the logistics field for many years and retired from Matheson Tri Gas where he worked over 25 years.
Roy had a passion for both photography and trains which led him to a hobby of taking many pictures of the trains he visited. His favorite one was the Union Pacific Big Boy #4014. He could talk about it for hours and leave you thinking he engineered it. He was also a huge fan of western movies, old country songs and reading books. He was known for his infectious smile and compassionate spirit.
Roy was proceeded in death by his parents Robert Lee and Mary Ethel (Long) Claunch. He is survived by his brothers John and wife Sharon, Ed and wife Pat as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
