Cloreese Janell Benton, better known as CJ, passed away on 24th of September after courageously battling a brief illness.
CJ was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Bobby and Jeanette Benton with a very large family surrounding her with much love. CJ was influenced by her family to be a loving and caring woman, always giving her time to others. CJ naturally had a green thumb and truly enjoyed gardening and could create the most masterful projects with her beautiful imagination. She enjoyed spending time with her sweet baby dog, Lucy, who was treated like a princess. CJ graduated from The University of North Texas and worked in finance for years with some time employed with SBA helping survivors overcome loss after a natural disaster. She loved taking trips with family and would often speak about her travels to Europe where she studied internationally with many beautiful memories of Ireland. CJ was at peace at the time of her passing and was ready to go home to be with her Lord and Savior.
She was preceded in death by her Father Bobby Benton, Sister Robbie Camp, Nephew Jonathan Zurek, grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that will graciously hold her with heavenly peace.
She is survived by her Mother Jeanette Benton, Brother Keith Benton, Sister-In-Law Debbie Benton, Sister Candace Zurek, Brother-In-Law Bruce Zurek, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her with heavy hearts but will look forward to seeing her again in glory.
The family will receive relatives and friends for a viewing on Wednesday, 1st of October from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield.
Funeral services will take place at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 2nd at Skyvue Funeral Home in Mansfield and Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery in Fort Worth.
