Chester H Cobb

Chester H. Cobb formerly of Tyler, Texas, went to be with the Lord March 29, 2024, at the age of 85.

He was born in Tyler, Texas to Carnell Timms Cobb and Bering Cobb.

Chester attended Jackson High School in Tyler where he met his best friend and love of his life, Shirley Battles. On June 10, 1960, they married each other becoming Mr. Chester Cobb and Mrs. Shirley Cobb.  A love that shall continue into paradise.

Chester worked many years for Midwest Pipe, Tyler Pipe and Fort Worth Pipe. He was also a member of El Bethel Baptist Church for many years.

You could often find Chester on the banks with a fishing pole or in the backyard Barbequing some tasty meat. He enjoyed race cars, baseball, and riding horses.

Chester is survived by his wonderful wife, Shirley Cobb; daughter, Marquetta Haley and husband Kim; sons, Kelvin Cobb and wife Pamela, Ryan O Keith Cobb and wife Crystal; brothers, Lonnie Cobb, Lowell Cobb, Herman Cobb and wife Katherine; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous friends.
