Bettianne Cherry, 90, passed away on February 27, 2023.
She was born on June 2, 1932 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to mother and father Ethel Pierce (Bryne) Cudworth and Richard Franklyn Nickerson. As she grew into the women she was known for, she met and fell in love with Joe June Cherry. She officially became a Cherry on June 13, 1955 in Clark County, Nevada. Bettianne loved to sing a nice tune or do a little dance any chance she got.
Bettianne is preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Pierce (Bryne) Cudworth; father, Richard Franklyn Nickerson Sr. in 1973; brother, Richard Franklyn Nickerson Jr. in 2013, and her loving husband Joe June Cherry in 2006.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph, (Terri) Cherry, Christopher (Mandy) Cherry; brother, George Bryne Nickerson; grandchildren, Bryce Cherry, Taylor (Chris) Dato, Lorelai Cherry, Christopher Cherry; and many nieces, nephews and loved family and friends.
