Charles "Smiley" D. Sitton, Jr.

Charles "Smiley" Douglas Sitton, Jr. has peacefully passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 85.

Smiley was born on May 20, 1940, in Dallas, Texas, to Charles Douglas Sitton, Sr. and Mary White Sitton. He graduated from Sunset High School, and was the owner of Smiley's Racing Products, as well as working at Outlaw Driving School. 

He was a mentor to so many with an abundance of knowledge and a true passion for dirt track racing. His time here meant so much to his family, work colleagues and longtime friends and he will be deeply missed.
