Cathy L. Peterson

Cathy Louise Peterson of Mansfield, Texas was called home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2026.

Cathy was born July 7, 1951, in Bowie, Texas to Delbert Pittman and Patsy Pittman (Dutton). She married Lloyd Peterson on January 15, 1971, at the First United Pentecostal Church of Fort Worth. Cathy worked for 32 years with the Alvarado Independent School District before retiring. She was a faithful member of Calvary Church in Fort Worth.

She enjoyed playing games, loving on her family and spoiling her grandkids.

Those that have preceded her in passing and welcomed her into Heaven are her parents, Delbert and Patsy Pittman along with her sister, Trish Barton.

Those left to cherish her memory and continue her legacy are her loving husband, Lloyd Peterson; daughter, Wendy Sojourner and husband Justin Sojourner; son, Lloyd Peterson Jr. and wife Amy Peterson; sister, Debbie Chism; brothers, Mike Pittman and wife Vicki Pittman, Tommy Pittman and wife Jeri Pittman, Jeff Pittman and wife Molly Pittman; grandchildren, Jacob Sojourner, Jeremy Peterson and Emily Peterson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
