Survivors: Son, Jason Powell and his wife, Luciana; mother, Sonja and her husband, Gene; brothers, Jack, Claud, Daniel, Todd, Berry and Gene Jr.; sisters, Jo Carol, Sharie and Cindy; and grandchildren, Nicolas and Marcos.
