Lillian “Linda” Margaret Boecker Burrows, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 16, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Memorial service: 6:30 pm Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 at Skyvue Victoria Chapel
Linda was born in Fort Worth, Texas to Rufus Boecker and Mary Ellen Jeter on February 12, 1944.
Prior to retirement, Linda worked with her son Bill for 15 years at Bill Burrows Pro-cision Transmission in Joshua, Texas. She was loved by all the employees and customers! She welcomed customers with a smile and treated them with love, kindness, and respect.
She never met a stranger and always saw the good in people, even when no one else could see it. She was kind, compassionate, forgiving, determined, strong willed, tenacious, and always had a positive outlook on life!
Linda treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as “Nanny” and spoiling not only her grandchildren but all their friends as well. She always said, “Children are my favorite people”. She also loved the animals God created for us, especially her pet cats throughout the years. She loved to read her novels, go shopping, watch her favorite TV crime/drama shows (especially Dateline), and looked forward to getting her Chicken Express on the weekend, “#1 with mashed potatoes/gravy, sweet tea and a fried cherry pie, if they have them ready”.
Linda was a loving mother to her children- Mary, Robby, Johnny, and Billy; son-in-law Randy; daughters-in-law Melinda and Nonnie; one brother Bill Boecker; seven grandchildren Robert, Brittany, Brian, Samantha, Ashley, Shannon, and Laura; seven great-grandchildren Gracie, Brynnlee, Brady, Maylin, Violet, Brantlee and Lennox; and her sweet fur-baby KitKat.
While she will be deeply missed by her family and friends, we find peace in knowing that Linda is now with her Heavenly Father, celebrating the splendor of her eternal home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Memory of Lillian Burrows to - St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, City of Joshua Animal Shelter, Children’s Charities of Fort Worth.
